The True Face of Islam

I was trying to sleep last night but I couldn't. It was such a strange feeling, this thought in my mind was the reason of my restlessness.

It is so easy to be a shia, sunni, punjabi pathan these days, what we find more difficult is being a Pakistani, a Muslim or even a normal human being.

We are good at complicating things aren't we? Small things gradually leads to bigger things, but we are always in search of big things without laying down a foundation.

Guess I finally got the answer.

Because You Are Still Missed.

There are some things that come to haunt you time and again; hour after hour, day after day, year after year. If only there was some peace, some contentment bright enough to dim out the agony of the past. Why are the ghosts of the gone days still able to frighten away the glimmer of life from today?

Let's be Tolerant, let's be Peaceful

After all we are humans..

Yes we are from different religions, we live in different pieces of land, we are from different continents, we are from different cast and cultures, we may even look different, but in the end we all are humans.

The True Face of Pakistan.

Writing about Pakistan is always emotional, you know you can write a lot, the good and the bad things. You know you have a lot to let out, share your thoughts. In my opinion, this has become a fashion now, sharing our thoughts.

Things have changed now, what we need is to tell the world that we are not what everyone thinks we are, that we are much more than just a terrorist or a failed state.

What Was Special About Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

" I have seen everything around the world. Allah has given me respect and a lot of it, now I just have one wish.. To see Muslims respected and prosper. My wish is also that when I die my heart will speak for me that Jinnah tried his best for Muslims and never betrayed the followers of the great Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) " -30th July 1948.

Muhammad Ali Jinnah was born in a mediocre family, his father was a merchant, he had no political background, he didn't even offer prayers regularly. Apparently to bring a revolution you need to be perfect and Jinnah was anything but that, so why did Allah choose Quiad E Azam to be the founder of Pakistan?

He was perhaps one of the richest Muslims in the Indian subcontinent, one of the most famous lawyers for sure, who was even offered many high posts in England by the British government. He could have spend his life lavishly in another country, but he chose to do otherwise.

There must have been something special in him. There was.

It was the summer of 1941, the 23rd March resolution had brought a dramatic change in the politics of Subcontinent and hopes were high in the hearts of Muslims.

The Daisy Pearl Soul

Stands under the pouring rain
Gettin' drenched.
Blinks away the pearl drops,
as they overflows from the dark long lashes.
Gazes above, wide eyed, wonders...
"What deed payed-off.?"

Interview with Harbhajan Singh

A player of passion, with talent to match, Harbhajan Singh is India's most successful offspin bowler. Purists might mutter about a lack of loop and flight, but he is very much a product of his times where short boundaries, heavy bats and shorter forms afford little latitude to slow bowlers. Bowling with a windmilling, whiplash action, remodelled after he was reported for throwing, he deals by varying his length and his pace, and can turn it the other way too. His deadliest ball, however, is the one that climbs wickedly from a length, forcing a hurried jab. In March 2001, it proved too much for the all-conquering Australians, as Harbhajan collected 32 wickets in three Tests, including the first Test hat-trick by an Indian, while none of his team-mates managed more than three.

Most Memorable Day in Cricket.
When I made my debut against Australia and helped India beat them in India in 2000-01.

Titanic's Resurrection

Written By: Fizzah Aziz

On April 10, 1912 the largest and most luxurious of the Olympic-class Ocean liners, RMS Titanic sailed from Southampton, England bound for New York on its maiden voyage. Just four days later it lay entombed in the frigid waters of the North Atlantic, 380 miles southeast of Newfoundland.  The iceberg’s brush with the ship on the starboard side had resulted in the buckling of the steel plates, flooding in five of the ship’s watertight compartments. The ship had been designed to stay afloat only with the first four compartments flooded. 1495 out of the total 2207 people on board perished that night.

Ignorance.

Children are sensitive. You might think they don’t notice but they are the first ones to notice. Treat them harshly at the age of seven and they will remember it even when they are thirty. Love them once and they will love you twice more than you did.

Twisted Tale of the Untwisted

Just as I have clicked the ' New Post ' I have forgotten everything that I had planned to write. There was so much going in my mind and I just wanted to type it all down. If it were the 'good old days' I would have wrote it all down.

Tears of Happiness.

Written By: Yumna Ghori.

I lifted up the shutters,
And let the sparks pierce their way through me.
It's soft ripple,
the trickle as it slipped through the smooth transparent glass.
It drummed into my ears.
Occult electrostatic forces pushed their way; and into my veins.
I shuddered, but with utter delight, Ecstasy.
