4th dimension, here i am !

Ecstasy

Written By: Amna Aziz

There's magic in the air,
I can see it, almost feel it prancing around.
That wild flower's growing higher than the others,
The river's running over the banks,
That sparrow's flying far and high, as far as the horizon,
The sun's glowing brighter than ever,
The wind's blowing in my face,
I'm flying, I'm flying, flying once more.
The flowers are blooming,
The birds are singing,
It's spring, it's spring, spring once more.
See the rainbow? And the sky?
All bright and gay
It's day, it's day, bright day once more.
Filled with the fragrance of sunflowers, daisies and sweet peas,
The air is cold, fresh and sweet
I can breathe, I can breathe, breathe once more.
Standing high above, I can see the world
Beautiful like a dream come true,
I can see, I can see, see it all once more.
I'm growing and understanding
The world's now in my grasp,
I'm going to have it, have it all once more.
Stars, like diamonds, are spread across the night sky
Seems a fantasy, but it's real, this world I'm in right now
I'm glad, I'm glad, glad once more.
I'm one with the flowers, the winds and the rivers,
The sun, the rainbow and the stars,
I'm free, I'm free, free once more.

An Interview with Danish Kaneria.

Danish Kaneria is a Pakistani leg spinner who is currently serving a life ban due to his involvement in spot fixing, he was involved, is it true or not is yet to be seen but there is no doubt he was/is a world class bowler.  He has continued the tradition of great Pakistani leg spin bowlers and possesses a very well disguised googly. In Test matches, Kaneria is fourth on the list of most Test wickets overall, only behind Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis and Imran Khan and will end his career as the highest wicket-taking spinner for Pakistan - itself an achievement. Here is a short but interesting interview that will tell you more about Danish Kaneria the person.

Most memorable day in Cricket.
The day I got my first test wicket.

Julius Caesar

I googled the word 'Roman Historical Movies' and came across a list of some amazing dramas and movies. Most of them mentioning or were based on Julius Caesar. One of them seasons was named 'Rome' and stretched to two parts, the more I watched it, the more it excited me and I just couldn't resist looking into his life.

Gaius Julius Caesar was a Roman general, statesman, Consul and notable author of Latin prose. He played a critical role in the events that led to the demise of the Roman Republic and the rise of the Roman Empire.

Birth and Family.

Caesar was born into a patrician family, the gens Julia, which claimed descent from Iulus, son of the legendary Trojan prince Aeneas, supposedly the son of the goddess Venus. Despite their ancient pedigree, the Julii Caesares were not especially politically influential, although they had enjoyed some revival of their political fortunes in the early 1st century BC. Caesar's father, also called Gaius Julius Caesar, governed the province of Asia, and his sister Julia, Caesar's aunt, married Gaius Marius, one of the most prominent figures in the Republic. His mother, Aurelia Cotta, came from an influential family. Little is recorded of Caesar's childhood.

Do not forget that in addition of being historical site, Paris is also one  of the  most renounced cultural hub. You sure may  have read Astérix and Obélix comic  books. But did you knew that there  was an entire street dedicated to its  first writer Gosciny ?

A Goat and Dedication.

I dedicate this post to Rabya Memon, who is my friend and a Batman. O.o

I dedicate this post to her just because she didn't accept my dedication of the most beautiful and healthy goat ever and I promised her that I will dedicate her my next post.

I can go on and on writing an essay about a goat. Like it has 4 legs and two eyes and it eats grass and etc but that will be boring. But I have to fill the space here so ..

Let me share 5 interesting facts about goats.

1. Goats were the first animals domesticated by man somewhere between 7000 -10000 B.C.

2. The ancient Egyptian Pharaoh Cephranes was buried with more than 2,000 goats.

3. There are approximately 500 million goats in the world.

4. Goat meat is called Chevon or Cabrito. It is lower in fat and cholesterol than beef, pork and even chicken.

5. In days of old, goats were often kept on sailing ships as "compact" source of fresh milk and meat.

Among those who've seen it in person, the conclusion is unanimous: Venice is the most beautiful city in the world, and the only one that can truly be described as unique. Each building is a work of art, with their beauty enhanced when reflected on the canals that cross the city. Its magical scenery is fascinating and breathtaking at first sight, evoking the feeling of entering the setting of a real-life fairy tale.
