Pakistan zindabad !

By memory :
"Hai jazba junoon to himmat na har
Justuju jo karay wo chuay asmaan
Mehnat karhni ho gi
Pehchaan : kabhi na bhoolo
Sab ki nazroon main pakistaan,
Kabhi na bhoolo !
Pakistaan hai tumhara !
Pakistaan hai humara !
Pakistaan kabhi na bhoolo ! "
I remember those 14th Augusts functions which took place in my school : PIA Model Secondary School.

That was the only occasion over the year rehearsals were allowed and students did there best to propose dramas and songs' choreographies. Lonely touch of comedy.

I remember my efforts to take part in. As 14th August approached we criss-crossed each street looking for the best national badge and a flag to wave. I remember those TV special programs and series which narrated Quaid e Azam's efforts to put Pakistan together. I remember this Jawad Ahmed song... Fighters friendship: Dosti.  I remember those mini flags : chandian; my sister and I used to find the cheapest in the town and then stick them on the roof with home-made glue. I remember flag my mum sewed for we display it on our roof. And everyone did the same.  I remember the moment when ceremony started and we all respectfully stood up, singing the national anthem Jalhandri offered us. I remember and I share all those things i can't live no more..

This day is for the last time for a long time part of the holy month of ramadan. So I put my hands up : i ask Allah for  my country's protection. I ask for prosperity. I ask for love and peace. I ask for equality. I ask for high quality education for all. I ask for availing all those advantages we posess. I ask for joy and hope. No more load shading and lack of water. I ask for cooler weather. I ask for tolerant hearts.
Let's you also demand Him whatever you want. It's ramadan and Allah is more willing to accomplish your wishes.

Salam Pakistan !
