Hazel Eyes

Written By: Afreen Ahmad
He did not fall for her
because of the way
she talked
or walked
or the way her hair caressed down
in waves to the small of her back
nor
for
her playlist
or her words
he fell for her because
of that little twinkle
in those hazel eyes
that set off sparks
in his brown ones.

Your Shinning Mirror

Shining Mirror

 Written By: Bariyah Faisal

I wonder how the lines of your face
hide the truth so nicely
And I wonder how your devilish smile
makes everything thing look perfect
I always see darkness in your eyes
But you have hidden that darkness
behind that sparkle
The sparkle that I see
when you have destroyed a life
You think your life is a shinning mirror
But one day, I believe,
your shinning mirror will shatter
And you would stand no where.
