Why is Google Slides better than PowerPoint

Google Slides vs PowerPoint

When it comes to making presentations the two most commonly used platforms are Google Slides and Microsoft PowerPoint, in this blog we look at why Google Slides is better than Power point and how to create a presentation through it.

Price
Google slides come as a part of Google docs which are completely free to use as long as you have a Gmail account. On the other hand, Power Point comes as part of a package for Microsoft Office and can cost you more than $100/year.

Accessibility
Google slides does not require you to download any software, you just need an internet connection and can start writing or making presentations. While, power point requires you to install Microsoft Office program on your computer or laptop to use it.

Usability
Microsoft Office has been used for a long time and most people are comfortable with it but Google Slides isn’t difficult at all, there aren’t many options when it comes to themes and themes.

Backup
You have to save your presentations and keep them safe in your computer or data device if you need to access them again. On the contrary, Google slides save automatically and all your data is backed up on the Google drive where you can access it any time.

Collaboration
The advantage Google slides have over PowerPoint is that you can collaborate with your team members while making the presentation. It gives the option to edit, comment and chat while working. But that is not the case with Power Point as you have to manually send the document to the other person or use a third party software to make any changes.
