Heroes of Pakistan - Raja Tiridiv Roy

This is Raja Tridiv Roy, who gave away his kingdom to be with Pakistan during one of the country’s most turbulent periods in 1970's. Just like most other Pakistani heroes he is unknown to us. When Bangladesh got separated he stayed a Pakistani and was forced to leave his Chakma tribe in Chittagong and later dedicated all his life for Pakistan. He was Pakistan's ambassador to Argentina, Chile, Peru and Uruguay, former government adviser, writer, Buddhist leader and was also named minister-for-life by Government of Pakistan. In 2012 Tridev Roy died from cardiac arrest in Islamabad at the age of 79. May God bless him.
