Voting In France.

Written By: Hameem Hussain (France)

The main point of this article is to sort out how many efforts are still required to reach the other side.
It was last year in May. I voted for the first time. My entry in politics.

First of all, to cast vote you pay a visit to city hall for subscription on polling list. Then few days before elections you receive by mail your electoral card bearing the address of polling station, and bio data of voter such as name, age, registration number... Usually a city have three to four polling station. They are located at walking distance. Mine was a main hall of a primary school.

I am not able to sleep, I have not cried for anybody like that except for my dad and few other people. Why is it, that when people leave, they leave behind their hasty footsteps that we're unable to retrace? Why is human nature so unkind? so uncaring? Why do they betray each other over and over again, breaking all those promises that they once did?

Self Harm and Religion.

Yesterday I was wondering why do I write a diary? Its weird, no? Its not like a daily diary like a typical teenage girl. I write once a week or so. But still its weird. Its like i don't want to forget anything that's happening to me. But what is happening to me? Nothing.

And finally, at last and definitely elections are over! I had been watching TV for continuously twelve hours during the high election fever. And for a whole week I had been dreaming that Imran Khan will win the elections and I'll witness naya Pakistan!

Yes, I dreamt Imran Khan doing that in front of Nawaz Sharif!
Unfortunately, Imran Khan did not win and became our prime minister! Yes he sure is handsome! (the reason majority of the women support him :P, and me and my mother starts singing the song: tu mera hero whenever his ad comes on TV :P)

My Dear Pakistan.

Written By: Ramsha Shahid (Australia)

Dear country leaving you was not easy
As I walk along a strange street
I miss how yours used to be
Crazy loud and lively by intimacy of bodies
The sweat of people which you used to greet
The hard labor whom you used to daily meet
The birds humming above your head
Making noises which were so lovely
The dust lying here and there
Making each one of sneeze
A horn here and a horn there by the rushing cars passing by
The crash boom bang of traffic by one side
The aroma of kebab by another
The giggles of ladies covered in veil as they gossiped by
The shouting of salesman dealing with the price
You are missed for being crazy loud and lively
No wonder a beautiful scene you have always been
Dear country leaving you was just not easy.

Pakistani Youth Lacks Role Model.

Written By: Mehreen Arif

The current situation from which our country is going through, finding a good person may be a better idea more than finding a role model. Pakistani youth lacks role model mainly because our country lacks honest and loyal people.  Role model is some one whose life is worth following for every one, doing the right things, setting the right examples so people take inspiration and motivation.

Delusions and the Truth.

Written By: Rejah Khawar.

What have I to lose except for the one virgin soul that dwells in a body full of vigor, zeal and curiosity? The body that bows to every adventure as resolutely as any apostle would have to the One he vowed to. Just like this complex structure of a perfectly blended melange that could go as far as the quest and hunger to satisfy its lore would take it.

Welcome to refugee life: Goodbye Pakistan.

Written By: Hameem, France.

Strange things are happening around me. Where we judge that patriotism, the love of one's own soil, the innate love for motherland is too light when it comes to talk about jobs, life and concrete human needs.

I was wondering what kind of nation we've become ? We sell our country, we sell our pride, we take a stay away and the whole life we live looking backward. As you know if you settle abroad having asked for political aisle you can't return back to your home country. It is such a lame that we have reached conditions making us insensitive. Too dheet. Or just helpless.

My Eye Opening Experience as a PTI Tabdeeli Razakar.

PTI

For a writer it is very easy to play with words, to spread a message, to motivate people, theoretically. But all my life I had waited for an opportunity, to actually do something practical, this always has been a part of me, this is the reason I am an engineering student.

Being a PTI Tabdeeli Razakaar was just like a dream, a part of my bigger dream. Up till now It has been an experience of a life time. Going to places, interacting with people, convincing them, arguing with them, forcing them. It was also a duty, a promise made to Imran Khan that we will spread his message and convince at least 20 people per person to vote for PTI.

Is Terrorism Justified in Pakistan?

A simple definiton of Terrorism will tell you it is the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, for any purpose to gain benefits.

Terrorism has grown throughout the world but there is no doubt that Pakistan is the country that has suffered most from it, it has become a major and highly destructive phenomenon in the past few years.

Different people and thought groups have different reasons for the spread of terrorism in Pakistan, there are many theories that can be talked about but the most appalling thing is that people try and justify terrorism. But is it ever justified?
