Charlie Chaplin's Letter to his Daughter

My girl!

Now it is night. One Christmas night. All unarmed wars in my little castle slept. Not awake or your brother or your sister. Even your mother now sleeps. Not only woke up zaspalite birds until he came to this polusvetla room.

I am far from you! But let oslepeya if even for a moment your portrait has disappeared from my eyes. It was here – on the table here – to my heart. But where are you? There – prikazniya in Paris, of the magnificent dance theater scene Shan h `Elize. I know that, like in a quiet night you hear footsteps, to see your eyes shining like stars in the winter darkness. I heard that your role in this party and light show is the role of Persian Beauty, captive from Tatar Khan. Be fair and dance. Be a star and siyay.

Tanka People: People Living on Water

 The Tanka People

The Tankas or boat people are a special group in Southern China who have traditionally lived on junks in coastal parts of Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Hainan, and Zhejiang provinces, as well as Hong Kong and Macau. Though many now live onshore, some from the older generations still live on their narrow boats and pursue their traditional livelihood of fishing.

Historically, the Tankas were considered to be outcasts. Since they were boat people who lived by the sea, they were sometimes referred to as "sea gypsies" by the Chinese and British. Tanka origins can be traced back to the native ethnic minorities of southern China who may have taken refuge on the sea and gradually assimilated into Han culture. However, Tanka have preserved many of their native traditions that are not found in Han Chinese culture.

The Journey from Teddy's Tale to Finding Neverland Blog

Finding Neverland Blog

It all started during 2012 in boredom more than anything.

Though my father always encouraged me to read and write and that I used to buy almost 10 magazines every month and that I had (still have) a library of my own with so many books. I was more a person who used to spend half his day playing cricket in the streets and the other half watching cricket matches.

Yes, It all started on one boring and hot day during my summer vacations with no cricket or any other activity, suddenly there was this idea that I should start writing a diary.

That diary is still with me, it included my daily routine from how many runs I scored in the cricket matches, what did I eat, what did I read, where did I go, things like how many times mama and papa scolded me and what were my wishes in life.

From Montevideo to Rio de Janeiro; History of FIFA World Cup

1930 Football World Cup winning Team

In 1928 FIFA made the decision to stage their own international tournament. The 1932 Summer Olympics, held in Los Angeles, did not plan to include football as part of the programme due to the low popularity of football in the United States. FIFA and the IOC also disagreed over the status of amateur players, and so football was dropped from the Games. FIFA president Jules Rimet thus set about organizing the inaugural World Cup tournament. With Uruguay now two-time official football world champions and due to celebrate their centenary of independence in 1930, FIFA named Uruguay as the host country. The national associations of selected nations were invited to send a team, but the choice of Uruguay as a venue for the competition meant a long and costly trip across the Atlantic Ocean for European sides. Indeed, no European country pledged to send a team until two months before the start of the competition. Rimet eventually persuaded teams from Belgium, France, Romania, Hungary and Yugoslavia to make the trip. In total 13 nations took part – seven from South America, four from Europe and two from North America. The first two World Cup matches took place simultaneously, and were won by France and the USA, who beat Mexico 4–1 and Belgium 3–0, respectively. The first goal in World Cup history was scored by Lucien Laurent of France. Four days later, the first World Cup hat-trick was achieved by Bert Patenaude of the USA in the Americans' 3–0 win against Paraguay. In the final, Uruguay defeated Argentina 4–2 in front of a crowd of 93,000 people in Montevideo, and became the first nation to win a World Cup.

Finding Neverland Poem

I know a place where dreams are born
And time is never planned
It's not on any chart
You must find it with your heart
Never NeverLand

You'll have a treasure if you stay there
More precious far than gold
And once you have found your way
You will never never grow old

It might be miles beyond the moon
Or right there where you stand
Just have an open mind
And suddenly you'll find
your own NeverLand

So come with me where dreams are born
And time never planned
Just think of lovely things
And your heart will fly on wings
Forever in NeverLand
