Heroes of Pakistan - Geoffrey Douglas Langlands

Geoffrey Douglas Langlands

A few yards away from River Chitral there is a sole cottage where a blue eyed man lives. He not only is my inspiration but I've also had the privilege to meet, interview and publish his life story on Finding Neverland Blog. Anyhow, life for him starts at 5 am in the morning. He puts on a blazer, tie and polished shoes. Then he sits down to breakfast served by his loyal servant, Sufi. He leaves for his school then, assembly is ready, and in his rock solid voice, says "Assalam-o-Alaikum" the students shout back "Waalaikum-Assalam" and thats how day actually begins for Geoffrey Douglas Langlands, an ex army man who is 95 years old now and has spend 73 years serving the people of Pakistan and educating the children.
